Four ingredients. Each one with a printed dose and a standardization. That's what sets NeuroTest apart from a lot of men's testosterone products, which tend to list a dozen herbs in one blend.
The company's idea centers on the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that signals the body to make testosterone. The company says it slows down with age, and that the right nutrients can help it "signal healthy hormone production at any age." The bottle calls it neuroendocrine support for testosterone, libido and energy.
The label
Per two capsule serving, according to the label on the official page:
Krachaidum (Kaempferia parviflora) root extract, 400 mg
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root extract, 200 mg, standardized to 2.5% withanolides
Mucuna pruriens seed extract, 200 mg, standardized to 15% L-dopa
LJ100 Eurycoma longifolia (Tongkat Ali) root extract, 100 mg
The capsules are cellulose. It's distributed by Prime 2.0 Nutrition in Mesa, Arizona, and the page shows a GMP badge. A bottle holds 60 capsules, so it lasts a month.
Why I like this lineup
LJ100 is a well known, patented Tongkat Ali extract from Southeast Asia, and it's the one most researchers use. Most of those trials used 200 to 400 mg a day, so the 100 mg here is on the lighter side, and the ashwagandha (200 mg at 2.5% withanolides) is also lower than in most studies. The company cites a 2022 meta-analysis that found Tongkat Ali raised total testosterone, especially in men who started out low. Seeing a branded, studied extract on the label is a good sign.
Ashwagandha is the Ayurvedic adaptogen almost everyone has heard of by now. It has small trials in men showing modest testosterone increases, and it's popular for stress, which matters because stress and hormones are tightly linked.
Krachaidum, also called black ginger, is a Thai root traditionally used for male vitality. It has small human studies on physical performance, and at 400 mg it's generously dosed here.
Mucuna pruriens, also called velvet bean, naturally contains L-dopa, a building block for dopamine. Some studies in men found it supported healthy hormone levels.
The company says NeuroTest isn't "a cheap dusted product" and that it has "real effective doses of each nutrient." With every amount on the label, you can see exactly what you're getting.
Morning routine
The FAQ is simple: two capsules on an empty stomach each morning. The company says many men feel the benefits starting with the first dose.
The bundles
1 bottle: $79 plus $9.95 shipping
3 bottles: $69 each, $207, free US shipping and two ebooks
6 bottles: $49 each, $294, free US shipping and three ebooks
The bonus ebooks are Mouth Watering, Manhood Enhancing Meals, 10 Minutes To Higher T, which has short at home workouts, and The Ageless T Accelerator. The workout guide is a nice pairing, since exercise is one of the best natural supports for testosterone. ClickBank handles payment.
There's a 60-day guarantee, and the FAQ says you can get a full refund even if you've used your order. You contact the company and return any unused bottles.
One practical tip. There are a few lookalike sites using the name, so order through the official NeuroTest page to make sure that guarantee covers you.
My verdict
NeuroTest suits men in their 40s and up who want a clean, clearly dosed formula built around Tongkat Ali and ashwagandha. If you appreciate knowing exactly what's in each capsule, it's one of the better options I've come across. Give it at least eight weeks, and pair it with good sleep and regular exercise.
A friendly note on medications. Because Mucuna contains L-dopa, check with your doctor first if you take Parkinson's medication, MAO inhibitors, antipsychotics or antidepressants. The same goes for blood pressure or diabetes medicine, since tongkat ali may interact with both, and for thyroid medication, because ashwagandha can affect thyroid levels. And a simple morning blood test is a great way to know your starting testosterone level.
Low energy and libido have plenty of causes, including poor sleep, sleep apnea, depression, weight gain and medications, so if things feel genuinely off, a doctor can check your levels and talk through options with stronger evidence.
You can see all the bundles and bonuses on the official NeuroTest page.
